The Internet Interdisciplinary Institute  of Open University of Catalonia
The Open University of Catalonia (UOC) is a 100% internet-based fully accredited University operating from Barcelona and serving over 50.000 students worldwide, including a selective group of students enrolled in a PhD Programme on the Information and Knowledge Society. The Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) is one of UOC¹s research institutes and conducts frontier research on the interaction between information and communication technologies, society, economy and culture. The IN3 is located in Barcelona and is led by professor Manuel Castells, jointly with a distinguished faculty.
